What Went on Behind the Scenes of Our NBC New York Live Feature

Shooting "Hottest Vegan Trends - and Fashion!" at the VEERAH NYC studio.

Most recently, we had the privilege of having the NBC New York Live team over to our showroom in downtown Manhattan to shoot a segment on...what else but the hottest vegan fashion trends! Not only did they feature VEERAH, but also other notable sustainable fashion brands. We were thrilled to meet the stylish duo behind the segment: Jacque Reid, NBC Host (a vegan herself who even donned our Venus heels in Black Tie for the shoot!), and Chassie Post, Yahoo Contributing Editor and Stylist. They gave us a breakdown of all the looks created just for this feature.

The models getting all dolled up

Aside from the stunning fashion she and Jacque were wearing, Chassie also put together three ultra chic, vegan-friendly looks on the two models. One of these was a black and white ensemble featuring a Halogen faux fur coat, Rebecca Taylor vegan leather jumpsuit, Angela Roi mini crossbody bag, and our very own Venus heels in Black Tie. The coolest thing about being in fashion shoots? Getting to see, touch, and feel all the fab pieces used, and also in this case, appreciating what other vegan brands have to offer. We were so inspired by all the looks! Whether feminine, sporty, or quirky, you don’t have to sacrifice your style with so many quality vegan fashion brands in the market. Who says you can’t pull off an all-vegan outfit, right?

A vegan fashion kind of afternoon at the VEERAH showroom.

Many thanks to Jacque, Chassie, and the rest of the NBC New York Live team for a fashion- packed afternoon! Watch the segment here.
